New Kamigawa Support Drives Prices of This MTG Archetype UP!

Shrines are back in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. The new support for the archetype caused the prices of the old Shrines to go up in value.

Last week, Sanctum of All spiked. And this week, players turn their attention and wallets to the original Champions of Kamigawa Shrines. Prices are rising quickly!

This news is particularly pertinent to Commander players because there is a new Shrine Commander, Go-Shintai of Life’s Origin.

Honden of Seeing Winds

The blue Honden saw the biggest increase in price. It was about $2.00 before Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. Today, it is about $8.00.

Honden of Cleansing Fire

Honden of Cleansing Fire tripled in price, as seen in the graph below. It was about $2.00 before Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. Now, it is about $7.50.

What About the Other Shrines?

The original blue and white Shrines saw the biggest price spikes. But ALL of the original Champions of Kamigawa Shrines went up in value!

  • Honden of Life’s Web is up from $1.00 to $3.50
  • Honden of Night’s Reach is up from $1.00 to $2.00
  • Honden of Infinite Rage is up from $1.00 to $2.00
