The official preview season for Magic: The Gathering’s upcoming Dungeons & Dragons crossover set, Adventures in the Forgotten Realms just kicked off, and today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed new legendary cards featuring characters and creatures from the iconic tabletop game: Xanathar, Guild Kingpin, Tarrasque, and Trelasarra, Moon Dancer.
In addition to these legendary cards, Wizards also revealed the MTG card for Sphere of Annhilation, the 2-foot-diameter black hole in the multiverse, hovering in space and stabilized by a magical field surrounding it. The sphere obliterates all matter it passes. The Mimic artifact card was also revealed today.
Other creatures revealed today include Minion of the Mightly, Purple Worm, and Owlbear.
