There’s a group of Modern Horizons returning in Modern Horizons 2 but you can only find them in one place.
Modern Horizons 2 will offer players and collectors various treatments of Magic: The Gathering cards that will be featured in the upcoming straight-to-Modern expansion, and Wizards of the Coast already confirmed that it will have traditional foils, foil-etched, borderless alternate-art, showcase sketch, retro frames, and foil retro frames. Some of these treatments will only be available in certain Modern Horizons 2 products like Collector Boosters and Set Boosters, so to an average consumer, it may be hard to figure out which product offers which versions.

On Thursday, Wizards of the Coast gave us our first look at a couple of returning cards from the first Modern Horizons with the retro frame treatment: Force of Negation and Giver of Runes.

Wizards of the Coast revealed that there will be a group of returning Modern Horizons cards in Modern Horizons 2 with retro frames and foil-etched treatment, but you can only find them in Modern Horizons 2 Collector Boosters.
Here are the contents of a Modern Horizons 2 Collector Booster:
Non-foil retro frame cards can still be found in Draft and Set Boosters, but you won’t find the returning Modern Horizons cards there. Traditional foil versions have a chance to show up in any of the booster types, while the foil-etched versions will be exclusive to Collector Boosters.
