Article at a Glance

As of the time of this article, many online vendors are selling out of Abundance. It’s ironic given the name of the card, but there aren’t many copies of the card left on the market today.

Abundance

A few days ago, Abundance was a bulk rare. There were copies as cheap as $0.50. Today, all copies of the card are worth about $4.00-$5.00, with a very specific version of the card running for $70.00+.

Biggest Winner: Foil Abundance

While there are five different printings of Abundance, there is only one version that is available in foil. That is the 10th Edition version.

Will Abundance Hold in Price?

Hype is driving up the prices for Abundance at the moment. People are understandably excited by the new combo in EDH. But, once people start digging through their bulk rares and listing new copies of Abundance for sale online, the prices should come down.

The retro framed Abundance from Urza’s Saga and especially the foil Abundance from 10th Edition will have better chances at holding their new, higher prices.

But Abundance was reprinted just last year in a Zendkar Rising Commander deck. I suspect we’ll be able to buy these copies for as cheap as $2.00-$3.00 given time.
