One of the most highly-anticipated Magic: The Gathering sets this year is also the most complicated one yet, so if you’re a collector looking to acquire all the versions of cards from Modern Horizons 2, brace yourself!
Wizards of the Coast already confirmed that Modern Horizons 2 will feature various special edition cards in addition to regular foils: Retro Frames, Modern Horizons 1 reprints in Retro Frames, Sketch cards, Retro Frame fetch lands, borderless version, extended-art rares, and some of them have foil and foil-etched versions, and you can only find some of these versions in the more premium Modern Horizons 2 Collector Boosters and Set Boosters instead of Draft Boosters (For example: You can only find reprints of cards from the first Modern Horizons in Modern Horizons 2 Collector Boosters), so it’s not surprising that Magic fans are complaining about how complicated this is.
Thankfully, Wizards of the Coast has provided a chart that shows us where you can find these special edition cards, whether they’re available in Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, Collector Boosters, and whether they’re available in foil or foil-etched. Check out the chart below:

Hopefully, these charts would make it much clearer to MTG consumers, but you know that the amount of special editions and various products have already made the set complicated when the publisher had to provide a chart for it.
