Fanattik + Hasbro = MTG & D&D gifts and collectibles
Pop culture gifting specialist Fanattik has signed a new partnership with Hasbro for Wizards of the Coast’s iconic Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons franchises. Fanattik will work with the brands to create pop culture-focused gifts and collectibles including clocks, money boxes, gifts, and more.
In a Hasbro earnings call earlier this week, CEO Brian Goldner reported that revenue from both Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons went up “double digits” in Q1 2021, which is largely thanks to the release of Kaldheim, the Norse mythology-inspired MTG set released in February 2021. Both franchises helped Hasbro to robust first quarter sales, contributing to a gaming category that totalled $365.3 million for the first quarter of 2021.
Anthony Marks, M.D. of Fanattik , said: “Retailers have enjoyed strong sales with TCG related product created by Fanattik over the past two years, and they were asking us to replicate this success with other brands and we listened to them”
“You can’t get much bigger than Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons,” he added.
“With sales related to both of these brands exploding in Europe, we would like to invite gift and toy retailers who are not already talking to Fanattik to contact myself to book a video appointment to learn more about both of these ranges,” said Luiz Ferreira, Fanattik’s Head of Sales.

With an upcoming Dungeons & Dragons feature film (and associated TV shows), an animated Magic: Th Gathering Netflix series, and upcoming video games featuring both, the demand for both properties continues to grow. Millions of fans are enjoying both properties, and the mobile release of Magic’s digital game, MTG Arena can further help Hasbro grow its profits in the near future.
