Mystical Archive Card Acquisition
Lastly, Wizards of the Coast clarifies on how to acquire the Mystical Archive cards from Strixhaven: School of Mages. The Mystical Archives are a series of cards that feature some of the most powerful instants and sorceries across Magic: The Gathering’s history. They aren’t legal in Standard but they are legal in Magic: The Gathering Arena‘s Historic format, with the exception of seven cards which will be banned upon Strixhaven: School of Mages release.

With this, you won’t open any of these banned Historic cards when opening Draft Boosters on Magic: The Gathering Arena. Instead, you’ll open these banned cards once you have acquired a set of each of the unbanned Mystical Archive cards offsetting any feel bads.
The Mystical Archive cards are duplicated protected, meaning it will be replaced with another Mystical Archive card of the same rarity if you don’t already have four copies of that card. Going further, if you have four copies of all the Mystical Archive cards of that rarity, it will be replaced with 20 gems if rare or 40 gems if mythic rare.
