While Phyrexia: All Will Be One’s First Look is slowly being consumed by the community, it seems that another round of Secret Lair shipments has reached people’s doorsteps. With these comes the ‘Bonus Slot’ cards that see no prior spoiling or discussion until someone opens their product and confirms their existence. This is a rather fun way of discovering cards that is, unfortunately, rather annoying to keep track of for retailers. Among the cards discovered is an incredibly popular one used by one of MTG’s most iconic players. Here are the cards discovered recently by players, including one that may go for around a hundred dollars!
Another Shadowborn Apostle
Yup, that’s another Shadowborn Apostle in the top right corner of this picture provided on Reddit from what may now be a deleted account. Since that is the case, perhaps take these spoilers with a bit of caution. That said, all of these are known continuations of previous cycles found in the Secret Lair bonus slots, and they do have all the appropriate collector information at the bottom left of the cards. There is a very good chance that these are real.
Two other premium Shadowborn Apostle have already been spoiled throughout the Secret Lair Bonus Slot, and both of them hold a pretty strong price. one is tending toward $85, while the other tends toward $125. Considering that this is the first we have heard of this new third Shadowborn Apostle, it will likely sit around these prices.
The Sorcerous Spyglass seen in this picture is not new, but the two full-art Sliver reprints appear to be. This line of full-art Sliver reprints has been seen all over the place for a while now, but there are so many Sliver cards being reprinted that new ones are constantly appearing. According to Scryfall and TCGplayer, as of the writing of this article, these Sliver cards are not on those sites, suggesting that they are new. Most of these Sliver reprints go for about $5. These were all found as bonus slots in the Junji Ito Secret Lair, who will be returning in Phyrexia: All Will be One. Notably, this Sorcerous Spyglass currently goes for somewhere between $15 and $20, so it’s a pretty good hit if you’re lucky enough to get one.

Post, the Enchanter
The once-thought Post Malone exclusive card may not be so exclusive after all! Another Redditor posted this image, stating that it is the bonus card from one of the Post Malone Secret Lairs. When asked which Secret Lair was a part of TheMonkeyPicker, this image’s owner, simply stated that it was “the main one. I didn’t order lands.”
This card famously showed up on the Post Malone MTG showdown hosted on WhatNot. Comically, this thought to be an exclusive card only received an 8 grade. Post Malone’s response to this less-than-perfect grade was a lamentation about playing with the card.
I have no idea how expensive this card will be, but if it’s a consistent drop from the Post Malone Secret Lairs, I wouldn’t expect it to be worth much more than other Zur, the Enchanter cards on the market. Either way, any who wants to get a copy of this once-thought-exclusive card should be able to without paying thousands of dollars!
More Secret Lair Shipping Problems
With these spoilers out of the way, the comments to both of these Reddit posts contained some lamentations about strange Secret Lair shipping patterns. While players are showing off their new loot on the Reddit page, others still have not received their Secret Lairs from the previous release:
“How the heck do people already have this secret lair when I still don’t have mine from the previous drops?” – Call_Me_Metal

One common issue resolved in these chats was shipping confirmation emails being moved to junk or spam folders. So, if you’re waiting for a shipping confirmation for a past Secret Lair, consider checking your spam folders before taking the next steps.

Does Anyone Want These?
At the end of the day, these are expensive skins to some cards that already have very affordable prices in the marketplace. These are for the Commander players who want to add some personality to their decks. Shadowborn Apostle and Slivers are already popular archetypes in the format, so there are many who may be interested in these cards. That said, it can be difficult to find the right buyer for cards as unique as these. Either way, having an opportunity to play the lottery while getting access to some awesome Secret Lair cards adds a bit of excitement to the Secret Lair product.
