Historic Brawl Fest is coming to MTG Arena!
Magic: The Gathering Arena players, get your Historic Brawl decks ready if you want to win 5 Japanese alternate-art Mystical Archive styles in the game!
Wizards of the Coast has announced the Historic Brawl Fest event during FNM at Home is coming on May 8-14, and players will have the chance to win five Japanese alternate-art, including God’s Willing, Brainstorm, Doomblade, Faithless Looting, and Regrowth.

The entry for the Historic Brawl Fest is 2,500 gold or 500 gems. Note that the four Mystical Archive cards banned in Historic Brawl are Channel, Demonic Tutor, Natural Order, Tainted Pact.

Just like the Commander (or Elder Dragon Highlander) format, Historic Brawl is a singleton format with a legendary creature or planeswalker as your Commander, but a Historic Brawl deck only consists of 60 card instead of EDH’s 100. Unlike Brawl, which only allows cards in the Standard card pool, Historic Brawl is eternal on MTG Arena so that means any card that’s been added to the game can be used in the format as long as they’re not banned, suspended, or restricted.
