Roughly sixteen years ago, MTG released Kamigawa, a block inspired by Japanese Shinto mythology which saw divided opinions from players. Soon after, Saviors and Betrayers of Kamigawa followed which saw some quirky cards and unique legendaries, making it a set to remember.
Set 2000 years later, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty is the second return to the plane but offers a futuristic backdrop. Expect to see Ninjas, Samurais, and a cyberpunk feel to a once traditional plane. Announced late last year, the set will drop in the first quarter of 2022.
