With the recent release of Innistrad: Crimson Vow, we thought it’d be cool to look back at some of the past Innistrad sets to see what’s hot and what’s not price wise. Let’s take trip down memory lane and see what’s the 10 most expensive cards from Avacyn Restored.

10. Descendants’ Path

Wizards of the Coast

Number 10 is Descendants’ Path. My guess is that this came up in price a bit to over take some more notable cards like Dead-Eye Navigator because it’s great for Tribal decks, like Werewolves.

9. Reforge the Soul

Wizards of the Coast

Number 9 is Reforge the Soul. This card saw a price spike back in June, but has been holding steady due to it’s inclusion in the Modern Goblin Charbelcher deck that has been making the rounds.

8. Griselbrand

Wizards of the Coast

Next up at Number 8 is Griselbrand. This crazy boss monster is a key reanimation target for Legacy, and Through the Breach / Goryo’s Vengeance decks in Modern. It’s a must kill threat that is a near guaranteed source of card advantage.

7. Gisela, Blade of Goldnight

Wizards of the Coast

Number 7 is Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. This is another great commander card that goes in Kaalia of the Vast as a way to kill an opponent potentially out of nowhere. She’s also is a popular Boros commander on her own.

6. Tamiyo, the Moon Sage

Wizards of the Coast

Number 6 on our list is Tamiyo, the Moon Sage. Once a powerful control planeswalker, Tamiyo is now show up in various super friends and control commander decks. The biggest one that we see this in is Atraxa, Praetor’s Voice, where you can get her loyalty counters up past the ultimate point and can utilize it to the max.

5. Sigarda, Host of Herons

Wizards of the Coast

Number 5 on the list is Sigarda, Host of Herons. She’s primarily seeing play as a green white Voltron commander since she has Hexproof and Flying. It also has some upside against various black commander decks or eldrazi with annihilator.

Wizards of the Coast
Exquisite Blood comes in at number 4. This card is part of one of an older infinite combo along side Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and any amount of life change. This creates an infinite loop that drains one player out of the game.

3. Avacyn, Angel of Hope

Wizards of the Coast

Kicking off our top 3 is Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The namesake card of the set is one of the most powerful Angels ever printed. This is a power house in various angel based decks, Kaalia of the Vast decks, or any white deck that can cast her.

Wizards of the Coast

Number 2 on the list is Craterhoof Behemoth. This insane creature is the finisher in go wide strategy decks like Legacy Elves, and is a commander all star finisher. There’s plenty of ways to cheat this creature into play and when it hits the board, everyone feels it.
