Time Spiral Remastered is the first-ever remastered Magic: The Gathering set specifically designed for tabletop play. This new expansion is a fresh way to experience the Time Spiral block originally released back in 2006-2007, featuring cards from Time Spiral, Planar Chaos, and Future Sight.
Time Spiral Remastered Draft Booster Box Packaging
The Time Spiral Remastered draft booster box packaging for the upcoming set appeared on Reddit earlier this morning by user Kirblinx. As you can see, it looks like we may be seeing another Tarmogoyf printing since the card was first featured in Future Sight.
Tarmogoyf is a long-standing staple of Modern and Legacy, and a much-needed reprint could encourage accessibility to those who want to play those formats. It still falls on the expensive side for this reason, so more copies in circulation will help drop the price further.

What do we know about Time Spiral Remastered?
Time Spiral Remastered will be released on 19th March and will feature 289 cards coming from Time Spiral, Planar Chaos, and Future Sight.
The set will include a total of 289 cards: 121 Commons, 100 Uncommons, 53 Rares, and 15 Mythics with no Planeswalkers included in the set. The last time we saw a set with zero Planeswalkers was in Iconic Masters, which proved to have an impressive amount of reprints and support for formats such as Modern and Legacy.
Time Spiral Remastered won’t be coming to Arena since this predates the digital Amonkhet Remastered and Kaladesh Remastered releases, and was mostly inspired by Tempest Remastered. This is strictly a tabletop release.
Time Spiral Remastered will be sold in regular 16-card Draft Boosters. These will be the only sealed products available for the set — there will be no Collector, Set, or Theme Boosters unlike traditional Standard sets.
When do Time Spiral Remastered Previews begin?
Previews for the highly anticipated reboot will begin this Thursday as confirmed by Gavin Verhey on Good Morning Magic earlier this week.
We have seen a couple of previews already with Path to Exile, Chalice of the Void, and Lotus Bloom seeing the classic Timeshifted treatment which is sure to go down well with enfranchised players. Remember, we have a dedicated spoiler section so you can keep up to date with the latest previews from this memorable set– Time Spiral Remastered spoiler section.
