With MagicCon: Amsterdam kicking off today, MTG players are already being inundated with an avalanche of news. Tons of new Secret Lair drops have just been announced, but that’s somehow not even the end of it. Thanks to early product openings at MagicCon: Amsterdam, new bonus cards have just been revealed.
Secret Lair: Their Magic Is Limitless Bonus Cards

Revealed on Twitter via @LaZorraDeAnna, the Their Magic Is Limitless drop seemingly has, at least, three unique bonus cards. Curiously, it appears that one of these is a guaranteed, and very gay, Llanowar Elves, while the other two are Elf Warrior tokens. Like the rest of the drop, the art here is spectacular, and MTG players online are already loving them.
Currently, while it appears that you get a guaranteed Llanowar Elves and token per drop, the collector’s numbers leave some wiggle room. As Copernicus1981 points out on Reddit, the 7170 card is unaccounted for, so there might be another Elf Warrior out there. Potentially, this could even be an ultra-chase, super-expensive card, but that’s currently unclear.
Even without a hypothetical chase bonus card, this Llanowar Elves should be fairly valuable. Past Secret Lair Llanowar Elves have sold for between $2 and $16, with art and scarcity being the driving factors. Given how good the art looks on this new variant, it could easily add a good chunk of money to the Their Magic Is Limitless drop.
As if that wasn’t enough, Elf Warrior tokens are always in high demand, too. Being produced by cards like Elvish Warmaster, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and Wolverine Riders, you can’t have enough of these tokens. Since these new bonus cards are some of the best-looking variants around, prices for them could be wild.
Thankfully, if you want to get a hold of these cards yourself, it’s easy. The Their Magic Is Limitless Secret Lair goes on sale on July 20th and is available until August 3rd. As a print-to-demand drop, you can get as many of these as you want, too, all while supporting charity.
