Wizards of the Coast announced 5 new promos that WPN stores can receive for In-Store events starting in July! As part of the “Love Your Local Game Store” promotion, local game stores will be able to get some awesome cards to hand out in an effort to help drive traffic to in person events.
Regular In Store Promos
The first set of cards will be Retro Foil versions of Aven Mindsensor, Dig Through Time, Bolas’s Citadel, Goblin Guide, and Scavenging Ooze. Each Promo will come with a Magic: the Gathering Arena code for a Japanese alternate art Planeswalker Sleeve. These cards can be handed out starting with the release of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms on July 23, 2021.
WPN Platinum Promos
The second promo is for stores who can get to Platinum WPN level before July 22, 2021. Stores who get to this level will receive 2 copies of each Rare and Mythic in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms but with a special new treatment. Each card included will have a glossy D&D ampersand over the front of the card.
These cards look incredible, so if your local game store is running in person events for Adventures in the Forgotten Realms release weekend and you can safely attend, definitely look to pick up one of these incredible promo cards. Adventures in the Forgotten Realms releases on July 23rd.
