We are fast approaching the scheduled release for Warhammer on October 7th, which also happens to be the release date of Unfinity. Neither of these sets has had their spoilers seasons announced. Considering Dominaria United’s spoiler season recently wrapped up, it was only a matter of time before we started seeing a spoiler train start rolling again. Here are the essential details regarding the MTG Warhammer crossover’s spoiler season!
Warhammer Spoiler Schedule
Alongside the release date for Warhammer’s Secret Lair sets, Wizards of the Coast also provided the spoiler dates for the upcoming Warhammer product. It looks like this spoiler season will be extremely fast, with spoilers starting on September 12 and finishing on September 16. This means that all of the new unique Warhammer cards are going to be spoiled over the course of five days next week. It looks like each day, except the 12th, will be dedicated to one Warhammer Commander deck, with a bunch of spoilers for that day leading up to a reveal for the full decklist of each product. Here’s where you’ll be able to find the deck lists for each Warhammer deck once they’ve been spoiled:
The Tyranid Swarm on September 13: MTGMuddstah
The Ruinous Powers on September 14: LoadingReadyRun
Necron Dynasty on September 15: The Command Zone
Forces of Imperium on September 16: Pleasant Kenobi
Warhammer Secret Lair Release Date
As spoiled by Wizards of the Coast, alongside the four Warhammer Commander decks released on October 7th, Warhammer is also getting three Secret Lairs. While we have not received any spoilers for these Secret Lairs, they have been confirmed to drop on October 17th, just ten days after the release of the Warhammer Commander product. For reference, here are the names of the Secret Lairs being released:
- Secret Lair Drop Series: Warhammer 40,000: Orks
- Secret Lair Drop Series: Warhammer Age of Sigmar
- Secret Lair Drop Series: Blood Bowl
To kick off the spoiler season right, Wizards of the Coast will be hosting a video dedicated to bridging the Warhammer and MTG universes. If the Dominaria Worldbuilding Video suggests anything, this will be the earliest way to immerse yourself in this new crossover world completely. Make sure to watch for this on September 12 for your next peek at content coming in October’s Warhammer crossover!
