While we’re in the midst of the spoiler season for the Star Trek set, MTG Reality Fracture isn’t done yet. Today, the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle officially released, though getting hold of it might be difficult. Following a last-minute delay earlier this week, it’s unclear how much supply is available locally.
Thankfully, Wizards of the Coast seems to have already solved this problem with a Secret Lair sale. Not only will the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle be available via the Chaos Vault, but there’s a pair of Secret Lair drops going on sale, too. At long last, we now have the release date for these drops, and there’s really not long to wait.
The Chaos Vault Opens Soon

In a new email from Wizards, they revealed that the MTG Chaos Vault opens its doors this Monday. Technically, Wizards doesn’t say exactly what’s being released here, but there’s only one obvious answer. Following their recent announcement, the Duality Distorted and 怪異学校 — Strange School drops must be it.
Notably, while you can buy these drops separately for $29.99 each, this is also a chance to get the Reality Fracture Secret Lair bundle. Priced at $159.98, you can pick up this product alongside both new Chaos Vault drops. While this might sound like an obscene price to pay, the value proposition here isn’t terrible.
In total, the cards in Duality Distorted have a raw reprint value of $36, while 怪異学校 — Strange School is worth around $65. Adding the $89.99 MSRP of the Reality Fracture bundle to this, and you’ve got $190 of value for just $160. While this is already pretty promising, the secondary market value of the bundle is unknown, but could end up being even higher.
Sadly, if you want to get your hands on this amazing deal, you might be waiting a while for deliveries. Following the Reality Fracture Secret Lair Bundle being delayed, it’s unclear how much Secret Lair supply is available. According to Wizards, the drop will follow “typical Secret Lair fulfillment based on drop availability and production timing,” but that’s as clear as it gets.
Due to this delay, getting your order in sooner rather than later is definitely a priority if you’re after the bundle. Hopefully, standalone lairs shouldn’t be affected; however, we have seen Secret Lair previously being hit with delays, too.
Not Long Now
With all of this in mind, it’ll definitely be worth paying attention to the MTG Chaos Vault when it opens on Monday, October 26th. Typically, the doors will open at 9 a.m. PT, with pre-queue opening up an hour beforehand. With demand for these drops seeming quite high, and Chaos Vault usually being a lottery, it’ll be well worth getting in line.
