Wizards of the Coast has been on a tear lately, announcing and introducing some amazing updates to Magic Arena. From the addition of Alchemy, to the Economy Changes, it’s safe to say that Arena is in a better place than it was last year. But Papa WotC isn’t stopping there. They’ve implemented an update to the game that’s BETTER than adding Pioneer. We’ll break down the best of the update and we’d highly recommend you check it out!
I’ve Got You In My Sights
While this update is a visual update, it has a massive impact the game and it’s quality of life. It’s a multifaceted update so here’s our top 5 improvements from the update!
Honorable Mention: Deck UI Improvements
One of the biggest things that Players have been asking for is an improvement to the UI in the deck selection screen. With this incredible update, you can really now see what decks you’re picking. Now you shouldn’t make any mistakes when queueing for games, like picking a Standard deck for Historic.
5. Sorin Markov
You thought Sorin Markov‘s glow up in Innistrad: Crimson Vow couldn’t get any better! Well now you really can get lost in his dreamy eyes.
4. The Adventurer
The Adventurer, one of the most mysterious figures in all of Magic: the Gathering. We had no idea what they looked like, but at least now we have some kind of idea. Thankfully, they’re a lot less scary now.
3. Ellywick Tumblestrum
When you look at Ellywick Tumblestrum, you can’t help but feel like she’s having a great time with whatever she’s doing. But now, her and her companion Groak, are living their best lives, and doesn’t that just put a smile on your face?
2. Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast
—Lukka, Coppercoat Outcast and his Cat friend here really got some improvements. They have a more serious look to them and really brings their characters into a new light. Plus, cats are just better, don’t @ me.
Last but certain not least, coming in at #1, is Fblthp. The one true god of the Magic Multiverses realizes his ultimate power, and now.. he hopefully won’t get lost anymore.
