MTG Arena
has arrived on iOS mobile and tablet devices!

Earlier this year, the mobile version of Magic: The Gathering Arena launched for Android devices, and the popular digital card game is coming to iOS devices this week!

Wizards of the Coast has announced that MTG Arena is scheduled to expand its mobile launch on March 25, 2021, to iOS devices and tablets. The update follows an early access period on Android devices, and now iOS users can access the mobile version of MTG Arena on their devices.

In addition to the MTG Arena mobile app launching on iOS devices, there will also be performance updates for Android devices.

You can download MTG Arena for iOS right now on the Apple App Store right here. You’ll need about 1GB of storage space with iPadOS 13.0 (or later) or iOS 13.0 (or later) compatibility to run the client.

Magic: The Gathering fans have been anticipating the mobile launch of the digital version of the popular card game since the game’s 2019 PC release. Its expansion to mobile and tablet devices will most likely expand Arena’s player base.

If you’ve played the PC version of MTG Arena, the mobile version should be familiar; the one major change in controls is that tapping has replaced left clicks while long taps have replaced right clicks. If you already have an MTG Arena account for the PC, you can use the same account to log in the mobile version. The MTG Arena mobile app is available for cross-play, so that means you can play with players who are using PC or Mac. Almost everything currently available in the PC version of MTG Arena is in the iOS and Android versions, including current card sets, events, formats, direct challenge, deck building, mastery system, daily deals, etc.
