Thanks to Universes Beyond, Magic: The Gathering is currently more popular and profitable than ever before. Capitalizing on this, Hasbro has happily been pushing MTG further through new collaborations and multimedia ventures.
With an MTG movie and Netflix series in the works, it’s only getting more and more popular, but Wizards isn’t stopping there. In a bizarre twist, it now seems that you can get Magic: The Gathering meat sticks, courtesy of Mythical Meats.
As if this wasn’t weird enough, these meat sticks even have their very own booster packs. If you thought your gaming snacks needed a little more RNG, Wizards of the Coast has you covered, apparently!
You See This? This… Is My MEATSTICK!

Available right now on the Mythical Meats website, there are 15 different MTG-branded “flavored beef snack sticks” to… collect? Each of the ten Ravnica Guilds is getting its own stick here, along with the five basic land types.
Thankfully, while these meat sticks do carry the names of “Swamp” and “Gruul,” the flavors aren’t perfect recreations of those concepts. Instead, the Swamp stick is “Peppered” flavored, which sounds a lot more palatable.
From the looks of things, all of the flavors actually look pretty nice, and the picks for each guild and land are surprisingly fitting. Between Habanero for Mountain and Landjaeger for Orzhov, this doesn’t feel like a total cash grab.
Here’s each of the MTG x Mythical Meats flavors available in this collaboration
- Plains – Original
- Island – Teriyaki
- Swamp – Peppered
- Mountain – Habanero
- Forest – Garlic Parmesan
- Azorius – Apple Cheddar
- Orzhov – Landjaeger
- Boros – Chipotle Lime
- Selesnya – Honey Brown Sugar
- Dimir – Bloody Mary
- Izzet – Sriracha Honey
- Simic – Spicy Jerk
- Rakdos – Smoky Cherry
- Gruul – Mango Jalapeno
- Golgari – Spicy Dill Pickle
While these flavors all look pretty solid, getting hold of them is weirdly kind of difficult. While you can get one of each land-flavored stick in a pack for $15, the others are only available in a variety pack.
Priced at $30, this variety pack will get you ten random sticks from all of the available options. Wildly, this means you’re not guaranteed the food you actually want when you open a pack, which is very MTG.
Thankfully, according to Mythical Meats, in the future you should be able to purchase flavors individually. For now, however, you’re relying on getting lucky when cracking packs if you’ve got a favorite flavor.
Sadly, if you want to buy any of these flavors for yourself, it appears that the Mythical Meats website is currently being hugged to death. We swear to you, though, this is a 100% real product, not some fever dream we’ve cooked up.
Fancy Some Food?
Sadly, while you can purchase these meat sticks for yourself right now, we can’t attest to their taste personally. Who knows, maybe we’ll be able to give a full review in the future if we can get our hands on them, but early social media reactions are rather positive.
While we’re still reeling from this announcement, bafflingly, this isn’t even the first time that Wizards has done something like this. Over the years, we’ve seen MTG collaborate with Hot Pockets and even IHOP on MTG-branded food, but nothing’s been quite this in-depth.
For now, it’s unclear if Wizards is branching out again for more MTG-flavored food, so we’ll just have to wait and see what the future brings. Given that MTG-branded meat sticks isn’t something we had on our 2026 bingo calendar, however, all bets are off at this point.
