is finally getting its first textless promo. Capable of finding any Plains, Island, Swamp, or Mountain from your deck, including nonbasic ones, this is one of the most popular ramp pieces in all of Commander.
Considering this, it should come as no surprise that Farseek appears in over a whopping 1.6 million decks, according to EDHREC. As the seventh most-played Commander card over the past two years, this card’s super-staple status is somewhat of an understatement.
While this means that this textless Farseek could be extremely attractive for many Commander players, the card itself has a rather dismal reprint value. Thanks to seeing a staggering 29 reprints, many of which are from Commander precons, Farseek only has a secondary market value of $0.50. The most expensive premium variant, the Surge Foil from MTG Fallout, however, retails for over $17, showcasing the card’s potential.
With multiple Secret Lair and other Farseek promo cards holding higher values, there’s a fair chance this particular promo won’t end up being a $0.50 card. Thankfully, while the only currently confirmed way to grab this card is by attending Magic Con Detroit, there should be plenty of other opportunities to find it. Between Festival-in-a-Box products and other Magic Cons in 2027, those who really want this promo should have plenty of chances to grab it.
