Strixhaven: School of Mages will have Japanese alternate-art Mystical Archives, and they look awesome!
Wizards of the Coast has officially revealed the upcoming Magic: the Gathering set, Strixhaven: School of Mages, which is set in the elite university of the multiverse, featuring five colleges battling it out with their own takes on magic.
In addition to the five Strixhaven colleges and the Mystical Archives cards from the upcoming set, the official Japanese MTG website has revealed three alternate-art Mystical Archives you can get from Japanese booster packs of Strixhaven: School of Mages.
The three Japanese Mystical Archives revealed are Demonic Tutor, Opt, and Swords to Plowshares, and they look pretty amazing!

Mystical Archives are premium alternate-art versions of cards you can get from Strixhaven: School of Mages, and you can use them in Booster Draft if you’re able to draft them, but they are only legal in the Magic formats they’re currently legal in. These Japanese alternate-art ones look beautiful, and they will most likely fetch a higher price than the English Mystical Archives because they’re only available in Japanese Strixhaven booster packs.
