With Jumpstart: Historic Horizons release done and dusted, there’s now another preview season amongst us! Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is the upcoming Standard set that will force Standard rotation upon release.
We’re back for a third time with an emphasis on Werewolves with the second Innistrad offering this year, Crimson Vow focusing on Vampires. Previews for the gothic horror set begin on September 2 and finish on September 9.

Innistrad Midnight Hunt will be available to preorder over at Amazon and TCGplayer later this summer. It’s expected we’ll see the following products:
With the Commander decks, these have been confirmed for this set release. As such, the pre-constructed decks will feature 15 new cards each, including new legendary creature cards to switch as your Commander similar to previous releases. These Commander decks are called ‘Coven Counters’ and ‘Undead Unleashed’, the former suggests a Zombie tribal deck is incoming.
Either way, the expected release date for the gothic horror set is September 24 for tabletop, with pre-releases happening on September 17. Magic Online and MTG Arena release is slated for September 16, with Commander party events occurring on October 30-31.
