As is tradition nowadays, it doesn’t take long for bonus cards to appear after a Secret Lair Superdrop’s launch. This time around, in fact, we didn’t even have to wait two weeks for them to appear, thanks to the limited-run shipping times. Thankfully, on top of arriving fast, the latest batch of MTG bonus cards is pretty strong, too, with multiple Commander staples being reprinted.
MTG Stardew Valley Bonus Cards
While it isn’t the most exciting reprint, there’s no denying that Big Score is a Commander staple. Appearing in well over 545,000 Commander decks, this card’s draw and Treasure generation are always welcome. Sadly, as useful and popular as it is, this card is also insanely well reprinted.
Thanks to appearing in tons of Commander precons, you can easily pick up copies of Big Score for around $0.30. Unfortunately, this bonus card isn’t guaranteed to be more valuable, either, as the Fallout-themed bonus card is only $1.72. While there is one definite dud, however, the Sylvan Caryatid bonus card should be more financially exciting.
At minimum, this mana dork sells for $1, which admittedly isn’t amazing, but it is getting a full reskin here. Thanks to the incredibly well-themed art, demand for this variant could be quite high, increasing the ‘Secret Lair Tax’. Since this card doesn’t have a chase variant yet, however, it’s unclear how expensive it’ll be.
Notably, Sylvan Caryatid only appears in just under 80,000 Commander decks, so it’s a staple, but not a super one. Academy Manufactor, however, really is, with over 375,000 decks using it in the 99. Due to being reprinted a few times in Commander precons, however, this card is only worth around $7.
Curiously, like Big Score, Academy Manufactor also has a Fallout-themed bonus card that sells for $9.25. While this means there’s no guarantee of insane value, the Krobus reskin is already beloved. Potentially, this could majorly pump up the value of this reprint, but that remains to be seen, since getting it isn’t difficult.
Guaranteed Value
For better or worse, judging by the post revealing these bonus cards, these bonus cards are fixed inclusions in each drop. This makes a lot of sense, considering there are three bonus cards, one for each drop, and each matches a drop’s theme. Technically, you can still pick up two of these bonus cards, though most of the Stardew Valley Superdrop has sold out already.

All in all, even if these Stardew Valley bonus cards aren’t the most valuable, they do look fantastic. Beyond their looks, these bonus cards also fill in the blanks of the characters that weren’t in the main drop. Thanks to this, even if they don’t end up being too valuable, they’ll surely be a hit with fans.
