Article at a Glance

During the Magic Showcase 2021 stream, we were told about a special “double header” type of product that included both Innistrad: Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow, called the “Double Feature”. This was to play homage to the old school drive in theater, monster movie double headers of old. Well today, Wizards of the Coast announced the release date for the set, and more in an announcement on the mothership!

The Innistrad: Double Feature is a draft set coming to WPN stores on January 28th, 2022. This is a draft set, that include cards from both new Innistrad sets, and will have a black and white art treatment, just like the old monster movies. We don’t know if this means that the original art will have a black and white filter applied, or if there’s going to be new art just for this set.

Players can check with their WPN stores on January 21st to get a black and white promotional version of Endless Ranks of the Dead, and it looks stunning!

This is the 2nd Commander Collection product and has some great cards in it such as Toxic Deluge, Phyrexian Arena and for the first time ever, a foil Ophiomancer snake token! This will be available in a non-foil version, and WPN Premium stores will also have a traditional foil version as well.
