With Wizards of the Coast’s slew of misprints and product delays, it’s rare for any set release to go without a hitch nowadays. Sadly, the same is true for Reality Fracture, as tons of Play Boosters are expected to be delayed past Prerelease. While that shouldn’t affect the event itself, it will make cards hard to get shortly afterward.
Unfortunately, while Reality Fracture delays shouldn’t impact things too badly, the set has a misprint that affects a very specific Limited interaction. If you open

That said, as strong as this synergy is, a surprising token misprint may make it easy to miss. It turns out that the first print batch Heartwood Tokens for Reality Fracture are misprinted as colorless instead of Gruul. This could mislead players into thinking that Karn won’t draw any cards with a Heartwood Token in play.

With that in mind, if you’re attending Reality Fracture Prerelease this weekend, be sure to tell the event host about this misprint. While it shouldn’t impact your Prerelease games outside of Karn, Gilded Guardian, knowing about it could be surprisingly important.
