After the repeated success of Secret Lair’s premium pre-built Commander Precons, it’s clear the product line is getting a bigger push. Both Goblin Storm and Secret Lair: Hatsune Miku were met with huge enthusiasm, offering players incredible value in expensive reprints.
Because of the immense demand for these precons, Secret Lair even adopted a print-to-demand model for these decks, eliminating the worst aspect of the limited-time model. That said, there’s still merit in locking in your precon orders early, since any additional decks that need printing can cause multi-month delays.
Now, the next Secret Lair Precon’s release date seems to have been revealed, and it’s coming much sooner than you may think.
MTG Chaos Vault Opens This Monday
Loosely confirmed via a Chaos Vault email earlier today, the release date for Odds and Ends is likely September 28th, 2026, starting at 12:00 EST. Of course, like most Secret Lairs, you’ll likely be able to join the prequeue starting an hour earlier, which is basically mandatory if you want to grab an early copy of Odds and Ends.
While the release of Odds and Ends technically isn’t 100% confirmed to be this coming Monday, it’s almost certain now. Not only do the three eyes appear on

If Odds and Ends is available for the same $150 price tag as the previous Goblin Storm and Secret Lair: Hatsune Miku Commander decks, this is going to be an absolutely incredible deal for anyone who can get their hands on it. As a result, demand will be sky-high for this Chaos Vault release, and pre-printed decks will likely sell fast. While Odds and Ends isn’t 100% confirmed for this Monday, if you’re interested in grabbing a copy of the precon yourself, it’ll be well worth paying attention to any developments.
