Due to Universes Beyond, it’s no secret that Wizards of the Coast is making money hand over fist nowadays. Profits seem to just be increasing each quarter as Wizards keeps hoovering money out of our pockets.
Thankfully, while Wizards does love taking our money, they also occasionally give back to charitable causes. This is something of a yearly tradition; in fact, Wizards is once again giving to Extra Life in 2026.
Beyond just handing over a bunch of money, Wizards has made a new Secret Lair drop and suite of accessories. Available in mid-November both online and in person, these new products look like a great way to support a good cause.
MTG Extra Life 2026

As is usually the case with each year’s Extra Life offerings, the Secret Lair is the most exciting bit. This trend has continued into 2026, although Wizards’ announcement here has been usurped by an early leak that revealed all.
Offering a total of $44 in value, this Secret Lair is pretty solid financially, but the art is the star of the show. Utilizing a Polygon-heavy art style reminiscent of N64 and PS1 games, all of these cards are wonderfully charming.
Thanks to being a Secret Lair for charity, too, getting a hold of it should be fairly easy, since it’s print-to-demand. Unlike the print-to-demand Commander decks, too, you’ve got a pretty generous two-week window to pick up a copy, too.

Dropping on November 16th, you’ll have until November 30th to make your mind up, but there’s plenty more to take your fancy. On MTG Arena, there are eight sleeves up for grabs, one for each of the Rise of the Polygons Secret Lair cards, and three chibi illustrations.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a new emote coming to MTG Arena, priced at 800 Gems. Speaking of gems, the Rise of the Polygons Sleeve Bundle is 3,000 Gems, while the chibi sleeves are only 1,800 Gems.
If you’d rather have your accessories be physical things you can hold, Wizards also has you covered. At MagicCon: Atlanta, Wizards is offering a playmat and sleeves by Dragonshield featuring the chibi designs. Priced at $25 and $20 respectively, these accessories aren’t too badly priced, either.
Extra Life at MagicCon: Atlanta

On top of offering accessories at MagicCon: Atlanta, Wizards has a special promotion running at this con. If you donate $20, you can get a surprisingly adorable pin of Loot, or a random Collector Booster if you donate $40.
With takeover streams also happening on November 5th, it looks like Wizards is going all out for Extra Life this year. This is great news for everyone, really, as it should mean tons of money getting donated to charity.
