MTG Drops Gruesome Release Trailer for Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Article at a Glance

It’s about that time! Innistrad: Midnight Hunt release is nearly here (at least for tabletop). Wizards of the Coast has dropped a brand new launch trailer for the set ahead of this weekend’s prerelease events. In the recent past, WotC has done some of these launch trailers for various sets, and they have been incredible. One that comes to mind is that for War of the Spark. Today’s launch trailer lives up to that level of quality, and it really captures the feel of the plane we’re heading to.

The animation, voice acting and sound stage engineering is truly masterful here. We know that Werewolves are the main focus of the set, so seeing a real time depiction of these gruesome creatures is incredible. This trailer also depicts the plot that we were given during the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt Preview streams, where Werewolves are taking over, the nights are becoming longer. We get to see this plan happen in real time.

I’m hopeful that there will be another one of these great trailers for Innistrad: Crimson Vow. With the vampire wedding theme, there’s so much opportunity to let loose on another incredible and lavish trailer. What are your thoughts on this trailer? Has this gotten you pumped up to play Innistrad: Midnight Hunt? Are you going to Prelease this weekend? What cards are you hoping to pull? Let us know in the comments!
