MTG Cyber Monday Offers Surprising Booster Box and Bundle Deals

Share

Black Friday weekend isn’t quite over yet! Despite some incredible deals popping up earlier in the week for Commander decks, there are still a few ways for MTG players to make their money for a little further. Considering how expensive MTG is, as any savvy player knows, every cent counts.

For Black Friday, many of the deals for actual MTG cards outside of Commander precons weren’t really all that good. Fortunately, for Cyber Monday, it appears there are slight discounts on popular MTG sealed products to consider.

Avatar Commander Bundle

While the Avatar Commander bundle has some seriously strong promos up for grabs, the box itself is expensive. Between nine Play Booster packs, a Collector Booster pack, A click-wheel which has a surprising amount of secondary market value attached, and multiple $30+ promo cards, it’s no wonder that players were spending as much as $200 on the Avatar Commander’s bundle when the set released.

While things have cooled down a bit since, $125 is still a hefty price to pay for the box. Going into Cyber Monday, however, a small sale has this box going for just $105 on Amazon. If you’re after one of the many tutors or free Commander spells that you can find in this box, this is likely the cheapest that you’ll be able to find this bundle for some time and, all things considered, seems like a decent deal.

Final Fantasy Play Booster Box

It’s been a few months since MTG Final Fantasy was released, but the set is incredibly memorable. Some flavorful, yet powerful cards, partnered with four themed Commander precons, made this an MTG set for the ages.

Despite the fact that Vivi Ornitier was banned recently, there remain lots of strong pulls you can find in Final Fantasy Play Booster packs. Buster Sword, for example, retains a $40 secondary market price for its cheapest variant, while Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER still goes for $25. Surprisingly, Vivi Ornitier‘s cheapest variant is still going for $27 despite the card leaving Standard.

If you’re interested in cracking some Final Fantasy packs for yourself, or even gifting this to someone for Christmas in about a month’s time, you can grab Final Fantasy Play Booster Boxes for $130 over on Amazon at the time of writing. That’s at least $15 cheaper than competitors at the moment, which, while not an amazing discount, remains a decent deal for a beloved set.

Magic: The Gathering Aetherdrift Finish Line Bundle

If you’re looking to try and hit it big for a discount, the Aetherdrift Finish Line Bundle might be what you’re looking for. Offering 2 foil box topper cards alongside 2 collector boosters, some promos, and six play boosters, you’ve got a chance to hit a first-place finish Chrome Mox in this bundle. Offering some of the ultimate bling for your Commander deck, if you’re lucky enough to hit it, this Chrome Mox is currently retailing for $400!

In the likely chance that you miss it, thanks to the presence of Collector Boosters, there are all kinds of other wacky, insane hits you can find in this bundle if you’re lucky enough, including a serialized Aetherspark. Other cards that see play across formats, including Stock Up, the enemy-colored Verge lands, and Monument of Endurance could all be found here, as well.

Sadly, outside of some really outlandish hits, there aren’t any extremely expensive cards in the main Aetherdrift set. Despite this, if you’re looking to take a chance, the Aetherdrift Finish Line bundle is available for $60 on Amazon ahead of Cyber Monday. That’s about a $10 discount on a product that seems to be slowly ticking up in price.

While there aren’t any incredible deals available for MTG’s Cyber Monday, if you’ve got the itch to crack some packs, this is an opportunity to save some money while doing so. If you’re looking for some Singles, on the other hand, TCGplayer still has its 10% store credit Cyber Weekend offer on anything you buy in-store. If you’re looking to build a new Standard deck anyway, this can really go the distance on future purchases.

Hopefully, between Black Friday and Cyber Monday’s deals, you’ve had a chance to save some money while grabbing some exciting additions for your MTG collection.
