Highlighting today’s previews is Damnation, coming in at the mythic rarity.

Damnation always commanded a high price due to its limited printing in both Planar Chaos and Modern Masters 2017. However, with a Time Spiral Remastered printing on the horizon, let’s hope that the price falls down into an affordable range for players.

But, the powerful sorcery sees play in Modern and Commander since it’s a unique effect within the Black color pie. The original Time Spiral block saw plenty of “planeshifted” cards allowing regular color pie breaks within the set. Damnation is the headline card of the series which is a direct reference to Wrath of God– one of the most well-known sweepers within Magic: The Gathering‘s history.

More Black Time Spiral Remastered Timeshifted Previews

Dismember, Harvester of Souls, and Thoughtseize are the latest cards from Time Spiral Remastered to see the timeshifted frame.

Originally printed back in Lorwyn, Thoughtseize is one of the best turn one plays you can do in Modern or Legacy. Thoughtseize is a powerful discard spell that gives you information on what your opponent is playing– providing you a plan of action across the next few turns. Seeing this spell with the timeshifted border is bound to encourage demand since it adopts the original art.

Dismember is another that sees play in Modern for strategies that want broader removal options– seeing this with the original FNM promotional art is a nice touch.

Time Spiral Remastered is set to release for tabletop on March 19, 2021. Magic Online will also have a Time Spiral Remastered booster draft event, but it won’t be available on Magic: The Gathering Arena.
