For Commander players, CommandFests are some of the most exciting Magic events held year-round. Providing an entire weekend of Commander shenanigans and related Magic craziness, this is the best place to engage with the fun, wacky side of Magic: The Gathering.
Alongside the reveal of future CommandFest locations, Wizards of the Coast just unveiled a new promo to go along with the events. If you’re a Chatterfang fan, this particular Arcane Signet will be a must-have for your collection.
Arcane Signet – Chatterfanged
Arcane Signet has become synonymous with Commander, only eclipsed by the reputations of Command Tower and Sol Ring. Tapping for any color of mana you need for two mana is not inherently broken, but is generally powerful enough to be included in almost any Commander deck. After all, not only are you getting fixing, but you’re also getting fairly reliable ramp too.
While the cheapest versions of Arcane Signet can be purchased for less than a dollar, promo iterations have a history of having a significant premium. The recently released MagicFest promo, for example, maintains a secondary market value of about $9. This Arcane Signet will likely be rather limited in quantity, suggesting a huge potential for a markup.
How to Acquire
Players looking to acquire this Arcane Signet can attend one of a series of CommandFest events. Interestingly, not every CommandFest event revealed today has this new promo up for grabs. If you’re specifically looking to acquire Chatterfang’s Arcane Signet, here are the opportunities to do so:

Anyone looking to upgrade a Bloomburrow Squirreled Away Precon will certainly have their eyes on this new CommandFest Arcane Signet. Sadly, many players who may be interested in this promo may not be able to attend the CommandFests that offer it. Patient players can buy this promo off the secondary market once it begins to surface there. Players who have purchased past CommandFest promos suggest waiting some time before purchasing, however. Convention promos fresh on the market commonly see inflated prices due to sudden demand.
