Unfortunately, however, these incredible features do come at quite a cost. With decks costing hundreds, even upwards of thousands of dollars, playing MTG certainly isn’t cheap. Thankfully, however, there are some handy MTG deals that can help you save some money!
To help you save some of your hard-earned money, today we’ll be going over all the best deals we can find. As a note, however, the majority of these deals will be available in the US, with supply and discounts varying by location. Thanks to this, we recommend checking with local sellers and storefronts to always find the best deal in your area! Now, with that caveat out of the way, let’s get to the list!
Here are all the best deals on MTG cards, boosters, and boxes right now!
MTG Draft Deals
With so many MTG deals available right now, we’re spoilt for choice of where to start. So, after picking a product out of a hat, we’re going to start with Draft Booster Boxes. Offering not just a bounty of cards, but also a compelling gameplay experience, Draft Boosters are the best of both worlds.
As the year draws to a close, unfortunately, there are rather slim pickings when it comes to MTG Draft deals. That being said, however, there are still a few diamonds in the rough for players to pick up. Given the time of year, these also make for great gift options, so long as you don’t mind shelling out for delivery.
The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Draft Boosters
Currently, on Amazon, a Draft Booster Box for The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth is one hell of a deal. Selling for $16 less than normally listed, this, admittedly expensive, Booster Box is packed full of great cards. Technically, this Booster Box can be found for cheaper on other retailers like TCGplayer, however, supply is the issue there. Currently, Amazon has no shortage of this product in stock, and it can even be delivered in time for the Holidays!
The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Draft Boosters
Should you be looking for something more recent, the current deals season also has you covered. Right now, a brand new Draft Booster Box for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan is discounted by around $10. Currently selling for $114.95, this product isn’t the cheapest around, but it is the latest MTG set at the moment!
Conspiracy Draft Boosters
If you’re in the market for something completely different, Amazon also has you covered there. Currently, the price for a Conspiracy Booster Box is looking downright reasonable. Well, as reasonable as a $161 Booster Box can be, at least. Typically very difficult to get ahold of, this novel Draft experience is a great time with friends. Just don’t expect to get much value beyond fun from this novel product, as the expected value is only $125.
MTG Set Booster Deals
While Drafting can be an awful lot of fun, Draft Booster Boxes do have some flaws. So much so, in fact, that they’re being replaced in early 2024 with Play Boosters. This change will also herald the end of Set Boosters within MTG. Currently, while you can’t exactly play with them, Set Boosters are one of the best ways to build your MTG collection.
Unfortunately, just like the Draft Booster Boxes above, currently, there aren’t all too many utterly fantastic deals floating around. That being said, however, if you’re in the market for some Set Boosters there are some compelling options.
March of the Machine Set Boosters
Currently, on Amazon, one of the best Set Booster deals around is the Set Booster Box for March of the Machine. Curiously, however, this product isn’t actually on sale. Instead, this Booster Box is just reasonably priced, coming in at just $90. Beating out the competition, not only is this product affordable, but it’s also purchasable, as Amazon actually has stock.
The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Set Boosters
As if one wasn’t enough, at the moment, Amazon has another enticing deal that isn’t technically a deal. Selling for just $169, The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Set Booster Box is cheaper than usual. Clocking in at roughly $10 less than the competition, this product is weirdly good value.
Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Set Boosters
If you’re looking for actual sale items, a Set Booster Box of Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate is the best Amazon has to offer. Currently selling for just $90, this set’s ongoing $5 discount brings its price down to lower than online competition. While this price point is intriguing, it’s worth noting that the EV for Battle for Baldur’s Gate is rather dire. This is due to a box only containing 18 packs, rather than the usual 30.
MTG Collector Deals
To continue moving up the price range, Collector Boosters are the most expensive packs around. Being absolutely loaded with foils, rares, and mythic cards, these packs certainly don’t come cheap. Thanks to plenty of unique treatments, foils, and promotion cards, however, there’s often immense potential for value.
Due to how prized Collector Boosters are by much of the MTG community, deals can come and go in an instant. Thanks to this, during events like Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day, you often need to be fast. Mercifully, however, there are some deals that stick around for longer, allowing you to weigh up your options.
Doctor Who Collector Boosters
Thanks to a seemingly massive 36% discount, a Collector Booster Box of Doctor Who packs is currently a fantastic deal. Selling for around $185, this price is currently $20 less than recent sales on competing sites. Unfortunately, however, as good as this deal is, there is one catch. Currently, in the US, you can’t get this Collector Booster Box delivered before Christmas. If you don’t mind the wait, however, this Collector Booster Box could be a fantastic gift.
Commander Masters Collector Boosters
Throughout 2023 there was a lot of hubbub about Commander Masters and its smorgasbord of reprints. Despite this mild controversy, however, it can still be a compelling set to open with enticing value inside. This is especially true of the Collector Boosters, which can have massive value bombs inside. Equally, however, you could get a box full of duds.
If you’re willing to take the risk and crack some packs, a Commander Masters Collector Booster Box is currently discounted by 9%. Selling for $163, this box is definitely an enticing one, especially since that 9% discount is worth $20.
Dominaria Remastered Collector Boosters
Last but not least, we have another set that’s chockablock with reprints galore; Dominaria Remastered. Released in January 2023, this set was forgotten about miraculously quickly, however, it does contain some compelling value. If you fancy your chances at finding the set’s most expensive cards, this Collector Booster deal might be for you. While they’re only $10 cheaper than usual, this 7% saving isn’t to be scoffed at!
MTG Commander Deals
If purchasing packs isn’t your thing, and you’re after a premade product instead, Wizards of the Coast has you covered. Over the years, Wizards has made countless preconstructed Commander decks, allowing for off-the-shelf play.
Unfortunately, despite the holidays being right around the corner, Amazon doesn’t have any truly amazing deals right now. For better or worse, preconstructed decks are just too darn cheap everywhere else! While this may disrupt your late gift-giving plans, there is still one way to get a cheap commander deck.
Eldrazi Unbound
Taking deals and discounts to the extreme, currently, we’re giving away a Commander Masters preconstructed deck. Specifically, the Eldrazi Unbound deck is up for grabs thanks to our ongoing promotion. Considering this deck is one of the best that has ever been printed, getting it for free is certainly quite a deal!

MTG Bundle Deals
While they’re not for everyone, MTG’s myriad bundle products can be surprisingly lucrative sometimes. Typically featuring an assortment of Set Boosters, cardboard gubbins, and extra accessories, Bundles can make for great gifts. This is especially true for the Gift Edition products that Wizards releases each holiday season. If you’re in the market for one of these gift-oriented products, you’re in luck, as there are some on sale right now!
The Brothers War: Gift Edition
Rather aptly for this Holiday Season, currently, Amazon has an MTG Gift Bundle on sale. Typically retailing for $50, Amazon is selling The Brothers’ War Gift Bundle for just $42 right now. While this isn’t the biggest discount, this product nevertheless has a lot to offer. With eight Set Boosters, one Collector Booster, and an added Transformers card, this bundle has it all.
Beyond offering a smorgasbord of packs and other gubbins, $42 for this product is a rather good deal. Adding up all the individual contents, you’d have to shell out $52, if not more. While this doesn’t guarantee the packs you open will net a positive return, it’s nonetheless a compelling deal.
MTG Secret Lair Deals
While Collector Boosters can contain some fancy art and foiling techniques, they have little on Secret Lair cards. Sold directly to consumers by Wizards, these cards feature striking, bold, and often downright gorgeous artwork. Even better than just looking good, Secret Lair drops can often be incredibly valuable post-release.
Thankfully, while they’re not all perfect, many Secret Lair drops offer reprints with enough value to justify a purchase. Offering great cards, art, and Universes Beyond collaborations, this Secret Lair Superdrop has it all.
To entice you into spending money on this new Secret Lair Drop, Wizards of the Coast has a unique promotion on offer. If you spend $200 or more, you will earn a free copy of The Locus God with new artwork. While this free card is definitely a nice gesture from Wizards, unfortunately, the promotion is far from perfect.
More problematically than The Locus God being cheap is the fact it’s difficult to obtain. Not only is it expensive, but thanks to the 10% discount, you may end up having to spend more than desired. If you’re after this promotional card, make sure your cart passes the required $200 threshold during checkout. If you don’t, you may become another disgruntled player.
