MTG Dandan Secret Lair Error Confirms Existence of Goblin Storm Precon

Share

For a while now, some leaked MTG Goblin cards have been floating around the internet. Sporting some quirky, but brilliant artwork from Wizards of the Barge, many speculated that these leaks were part of an upcoming Precon. Considering some absolute killer reprints, like Roaming Throne had been leaked, the community was undeniably curious.

Despite this, there wasn’t any official guarantee that this Secret Lair was even a precon or if it existed at all. While uncommon, some unreleased MTG cards that leak never make an official appearance. A massive Dandan Secret Lair screw-up, however, seems to confirm that this Goblin Storm Secret Lair Commander precon exists.

Goblin Storm Confirmation

It appears that a small number of MTG players who ordered the Dandan Secret Lair are getting something entirely different. In addition to the Facebook post confirming the error, an eBay post has appeared offering what appears to be the Goblin Storm precon for sale. That said, it appears this seller had the deck without the accompanying box, so the two products may be unrelated.

Despite Goblin Storm appearing in the wild, at the time of writing, no one has officially opened the product. With no plans for any of the copies to be opened soon, we may be in the dark about the deck’s exact contents for some time to come.

All of that said, this is the first time that the Goblin Storm precon’s existence has seemingly been confirmed, meaning that the Secret Lair will likely be coming sometime in the future. When that will be, if ever, however, is anyone’s guess.

Cards Leaked So Far

The exact contents of the Goblin Storm Secret Lair Commander precon are still a mystery, but a decent number of cards for the Precon have been leaked in various places online recently. While these are by no means confirmed, here is a list of cards that have been leaked for the Goblin Storm precon, with each card sporting unique artwork:
