After yesterday’s sell-out Dandan drop, we weren’t expecting much else from Secret Lair this week. In a surprise move, however, Wizards revealed another new drop today, featuring everyone’s favorite Marvel miscreant, Deadpool. Titled ‘I Fixed it (You’re Welcome), this Secret Lair drop features six classic cards with a signature Deadpool makeover. While it’s certainly flashy and flavorful, this drop is regrettably lacking in financial value.
The I Fixed It (You’re Welcome) Secret Lair Drop

Revealed in an Instagram video from Taalia Vess, I Fixed it (You’re Welcome) is the second Deadpool Secret Lair drop after last year’s original. This drop takes a bit of a different approach, leaning harder into the aesthetic of that drop’s Blacker Lotus bonus card.
As interesting as the artwork here is, the cards themselves are far less exciting. Sol Ring and Lightning Greaves are Commander staples, to be sure, but they’re also only worth about $5.50 in total. These are also cards that we’ve seen many times before in Secret Lair, so their presence here feels underwhelming to say the least. The same can be said of Lightning Bolt: a multi-format classic, but an $0.80 card we’ve seen plenty of nonetheless.

Those three cards represent the higher end of what’s featured in this drop, too. The other three, Deadly Dispute, Thrill of Possibility, and a Mountain, aren’t even worth $1 all together. Again, these are widely-played cards, with the nonland ones seeing play in over 800,000 Commander decks combined according to EDHREC, but the total value here is barely $6.60. Even by Secret Lair’s shaky standards, that’s pretty rough.
Of course, it is worth bearing in mind that these values are based on current low listings for each card. Secret Lair printings do often carry premiums, especially when they’re based on popular properties. The Sonic Sol Ring is about $12.85, for example, while the Spider-Man one is $12.13. With this in mind, the cards in this drop could be worth the regular Secret Lair price of $29.99 on the secondary market, though that’s uncertain for now.
Ups And Downs

So far, the community reception to the I Fixed it (You’re Welcome) Secret Lair drop has been mixed, to say the least. The low financial value of the drop has been a common talking point as expected, with many bemoaning the lack of a big hitter here. This is particularly egregious considering how much value was packed into the original Deadpool Secret Lair drop.
While players are fairly united on the drop’s low value, the artwork is proving much more divisive. Some players love it, noting how well the cards capture Deadpool as a character. The unique foiling on display here, which appears to be new for this drop, has caught some players’ eyes, too.
Others are less convinced, pointing out that the scribbled aesthetic here leaves room for confusion, making the cards less than ideal as actual game pieces. This has been a recurring issue with Secret Lair over the years, and it’s a very valid criticism of this new drop as well.
Whether you’re excited to pick this drop up or not, we unfortunately don’t have a ton of other information on it at present. Taalia Vess’s video didn’t mention a release date, or even whether this will be part of a larger Superdrop.
Some players are speculating that it’ll be a special April Fools release, like the previous Deadpool drop, which makes a ton of sense given how close it is. With no official information for now, however, we’ll just have to wait for an announcement from Wizards.
