A few weeks ago, a Secret Lair leak revealed a new preconstructed deck, presumably coming in 2026. Sadly, the first cards we saw from this deck weren’t that great, only being worth around $2. Now, however, a new leak has showcased some massive bombs with impressive $30 price tags. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this mystery deck, but it’s certainly shaping up nicely now. We’ve seen the Sol Ring before, but everything else here is brand new.
Incredible Reprint Lineup

Of all the reprints showcased today, Esper Sentinel has the highest value. Taxing players whenever they cast a noncreature spell for the first time each turn, Esper Sentinel can draw you a surprising amount of cards, especially when played early. The creature rightfully has a $37 secondary market value at the absolute cheapest, thanks in large part to its multiformat demand.
Sensei’s Divining Top, another $30 reprint, hardly needs an introduction. Fixing the top of your library and enabling lots of infinite combos, Sensei’s Divining Top can be reasonably included in almost any MTG Commander deck. Alongside Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, the presumed Commander of this precon, however, Sensei’s Divining Top can do extra work. By fixing the top of your library, Top ensures that Yennett will be able to consistently cast massive odd-costed cards for free.
Speaking of odd-costed haymakers, Void Winnower appears here as a flavorful $20 Eldrazi reprint. Thanks to effectively sealing off even-costed spells from being cast, this is a rather hateful card to play against.
Odd-Costed Value

The second image from the Secret Lair leak reveals a set of cards that basically confirms the odd-costed theme of this potential premium precon. Virtue of Persistence, in particular, fits this theme like a glove. Whether you’re playing it early as Lochtwain’s Scorn or cheating it in with Yennett, it offers fantastic value. Speaking of, with a price of around $6 on average, this isn’t a terrible reprint either.
The same goes for Misleading Signpost, a three-mana mana rock that can both ramp towards your bigger plays and can redirect a bigger threat in a pinch. Frankly, $14.47 seems extremely expensive for a mediocre one-time effect like this, but with some flickering shenanigans, you may be able to get a lot out of it.
Unlike Signpost, Reconnaissance is worth every penny of its $4 reprint value. This nifty enchantment can protect Yennett from attacking into bigger creatures, allowing you to get your Commander’s attack trigger without risking it. You can also use the enchantment to untap your beefy attackers after they deal damage.
That leaves Shadrix Silverquill as the odd card out of this revealed bunch. The card is capable of doing a lot of damage, especially in Commander, where its downside is less impactful thanks to the multiplayer nature of the format. This Double Striking menace can both create and pump a board up quickly, offering far better performance than its surprising $0.75 price tag.
On top of these reprints, there were also some Foil Basic Plains shown off with new, wacky artwork. These thematically match the Islands shown off in the first leak, and are largely what has players thinking that this will be a premium precon revealed at some point.
More Coming Soon?
For now, we really don’t know much about this mystery leaked Secret Lair precon. Given that it’s evidently already in somebody’s hands, however, a release might not be ages away. Ultimately, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens throughout 2026. Given that Lorwyn Eclipsed is the big news item for next week, don’t be surprised if there’s a bit of a wait for more info.
