Best MTG Deals On Amazon This Week

Share

As many Magic: The Gathering players know, this game is an excessively expensive hobby. Cards are continually getting pricier, thanks in large part to the introduction of new IPs via Universes Beyond. Because of this, it’s no wonder that many MTG players want to get their money’s worth. Sales are rare in the world of MTG, so when they do pop up, it’s worth exploring at best.

It’s Amazon Prime week, which means all kinds of sales are available. Even Magic: The Gathering players can get in on the cheaper prices, but these are mostly for MTG accessories, and not new cards themselves.

If you’re interested in getting involved with Amazon’s 2025 Prime Week, here are the best deals on the client so far.

MTG Dice Collection

Having a huge amount of dice generally isn’t needed for competitive play, but Commander players can greatly benefit from having a wide range of dice. At the very least, dice like these can help you to make a complex board easy to understand. In Commander, it’s easy for boards to become absolutely massive, requiring different kinds of counters to be represented. These dice collections are the best way to keep things clear.

Thanks to Final Fantasy X’s Counter Blitz, decks that move different kinds of counters around the board are more popular than usual. Keeping track of different kinds of counters, keyword counters in particular, can help keep your board clean, easy to communicate, and can ultimately save a lot of time.

These won’t be for everyone, but for those who can use dice collections like these, there is a Prime Day sale going on. Currently, $12.80 is the cheapest price available for this particular dice collection, thanks to a 25% sale.

Depending on the type of dice you’re after, as well as how many, there are all kinds of sales and deals on Amazon, typically ranging from $9 to $20.

MTG Deck Boxes

Outside of dice collections, a majority of the Amazon Prime Day deals are for deck boxes using heavier material and magnetic clasps. These generally fare better than cheaper plastic options in terms of protecting your cards, although they don’t tend to have interesting box art as a drawback.

Multiple different deck box kits offering varying amounts of storage and placements for other accessories are currently discounted, thanks to Amazon Prime Day. Many of these have hundreds of sales with very positive feedback.

If you’re looking for a single, sturdy deck box, this Arkeiliy deck box seems to be the best deal at the moment. Designed with Commander in mind, Prime Day sales knock the price of this deck box down to $7.21. It’s difficult to find any deck box for that price nowadays.

If you’re looking for something a bit more robust, there are a variety of different offers available that can contain varying amounts of cards and other accessories. If you’re looking to fit two Commander decks in one product for as cheap as possible, the tmstories 200+ card Commander deck box seems rather affordable at $14.24 after the Amazon Prime Day discount.

As a word of caution, if you do explore Amazon for card storage solutions, double-check and make sure what you’re purchasing is intended for MTG cards. Other TCGs, like Yu-Gi-Oh! have much smaller cards, so deck boxes built around those won’t fit MTG cards.

What About MTG Cards?

There are no Prime deals for MTG cards. That said, some deals on Amazon are better than common competitors. These discounts generally aren’t very large, but every dollar counts.

Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Booster boxes, for example, are about $10 cheaper than the majority of market averages right now. With some research, you can save a few dollars, but if you’re interested in taking advantage of Amazon Prime Day sales, accessories are your best bet.

Amazon Prime Day does end soon, only lasting until July 12th, so if you are in the market for some card accessory solutions, it may be best to take a look before time runs out.
